About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mortgage Broker to join our team. You will work with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate the home loan process from initial consultation to settlement. With access to a wide lender panel, proven systems, and a steady flow of leads and referral partners, this is a salaried position offering stability and a platform for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and financial positions to determine suitable lending options
• Research, compare, and recommend appropriate home loan products from our lender panel
• Manage the end-to-end loan application process, from initial consultation through to settlement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, referral partners, and clients
• Ensure full compliance with the NCCP Act and responsible lending obligations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company CRM/broker platform
• Meet settlement targets and activity benchmarks as agreed with management
• Provide ongoing client support, annual reviews, and retention services

What You Bring

• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (minimum); Diploma preferred
• 1–2 years experience as a practising mortgage broker
• Current MFAA or FBAA membership (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong understanding of residential lending products and lender policies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with broker platforms (e.g., Broker Engine)
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Valid Australian driver's licence (desirable)
